Les Grand Chais de France Group is a family company established in 1979 and one of the largest wine companies in France. The color is light, pale salmon pink. The aroma is berry fresh and citrusy, you can feel light red berries, dominated by fresh red forest berries – cranberries, strawberries and raspberries, fresh citrus fruits are added to the end of the aroma, with a light berry spice. The taste is light and slightly salty with a berry character, with hints of cranberries and pohl and raspberries. The aftertaste is refreshed by a perceived berry spiciness with pungent minerality and bitter red grapefruit acidity. The grape skins are soaked in berry juice for 4-6 hours, the wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel barrels and is not aged in oak barrels.
