About the wine
David & Nadia Aristargos 2023 comes from South Africa’s acclaimed Swartland wine region, where old vines, diverse soils and a long winemaking tradition produce expressive wines.
David and Nadia Sadie are known for their low-intervention approach, which highlights the character of their vineyards and the natural balance of their wines.
Aristargos is a distinctive white blend made from nine grape varieties. Chenin Blanc forms the base, joined by Sémillon, Colombard, Roussanne and other varieties. The blend gives the wine depth, complexity and a character of its own.
The wine spent 11 months in used oak barrels and concrete vessels, preserving its freshness and helping develop a fine, balanced texture.
Ripe pear, peach, apricot and citrus on the nose, with delicate floral and mineral notes. The palate is layered and elegant, with refreshing acidity, a soft texture and a long, gently spicy, mineral finish.
Aristargos 2023 suits those who enjoy distinctive, carefully crafted whites. Its rich, balanced style works well at a special dinner or on its own.
