David & Nadia Chenin Blanc 2019 comes from South Africa’s acclaimed Swartland wine region, where a warm climate, diverse soils and old vines produce distinctive white wines.
David and Nadia Sadie are dedicated winemakers who aim to express the individual character of Swartland’s vineyards and make authentic, balanced wines.
This Chenin Blanc is made from seven vineyards planted between 1962 and 1982. These old vines give the wine depth, expressiveness and a distinctive character.
The wine spent 11 months in used French oak barrels, preserving its natural freshness while adding texture and complexity.
Ripe pear, white peach, apple and citrus on the nose, with delicate floral and mineral notes.
Elegant and balanced on the palate, with fresh acidity, fine texture and a long, gently mineral finish.
