About the wine

Morgenster Stellenbosch 2008 is a mature red from one of South Africa’s most esteemed wine regions. Made in a classic Bordeaux style, it reflects Stellenbosch’s terroir and Morgenster’s longstanding winemaking tradition.

Aroma: Mature and deep, with blackcurrant, plum, leather and tobacco, backed by gentle spice and cedar.
Palate: Full-bodied and well developed, with soft tannins and balanced acidity. Ripe berries, spice and earthy depth lead to a long, elegant finish.

Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc
